Big Property Marketing is always seeking Floor Plan sketchers. The job involves visiting properties in the London area to measure and sketch the layout of the property on graph paper. You will sometimes need to collect keys from an Estate Agents office. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. To begin with, the applicant will require his/her own transport (scooter/motorbike recommended as this increases time in properties and reduces time in traffic, thereby increasing earnings). You will sometimes be meeting the vendors and landlords of large and expensive properties, so you will need to be well presented, polite and professional and speak perfect/fluent English. Earnings will depend entirely on your speed and ability to produce error-free, accurate sketches, but once trained you will be able to earn between £80 and £120 a day as a freelancer, or £16-£18k as a full timer. To begin with all applicants accepted for the role will start as freelancers. The best performing freelancers will then be selected for a full time position, which may include company transport, depending on customer requirements and locations. You will need to have meticulous attention to detail, be prepared to follow rigorous checking procedures without fail and be flexible in your approach. Applicants who already have their own PC and scanner will be at an advantage, as they will be able to work from home and not always have to come to the (Richmond-based) office to upload their floor plan sketches to our web-based workflow system. Full UK driving licence will be required, as well as your own mobile phone. If successful, you will be joining a team of energetic and enthusiastic professionals with a passion for what they do.
