Richard Hanbury
With a diploma in law, an MBA from The Wharton School, Pennsylvania and two years as an associate at McKinsey and Company, Richard has helped us grow the company from the outset. He has detailed knowledge of entrepreneurial management in both theory and practice having set up his own company in 1999.

Merlin Neuroresearch Group (MNG) was set up to promote an EEG driven brain entrainment system developed by Richard to solve acute pain following an auto-accident. He was then able to apply this technology across several industries.

MNG clients included the Royal Airforce, Royal Marines, the Police, Intelligence Services and Special Forces with whom he developed a peak performance training programme. He also joined the medical team of the Virgin Global Challenger hot air balloon and personally trained Richard Branson to enable him to carefully manage his sleep patterns during the flight.

This system has also been used by an number of other sporting teams to help improve reaction speeds, balance and performance under pressure. Richard has worked with the McLaren F1 team and the British National Rugby Team.

Richard is an individual with huge ambition and drive. He continues to move forward in the field of healthcare, having organised research for the charity INSPIRE and the London Stroke Association. He can speak several languages, has won a National Marksmanship Divisional Gold, a New Paraplegic National Sports Championship Gold and has also been a member of the British Disabled Ski Team.
